News
2010 is going to be a busy year for Star Steppers! Firstly the Step 3 boys have been asked to perform at the Frensham Heights Theatre in Farnham on March 20th to celebrate boys dance in Surrey. An excellent opportunity to showcase their talents, good luck!
Easter Workshop
At Easter time Star Steppers will be hosting a Musical Theatre workshop based on ‘Alice in Wonderland’. A 3 day course offering dance, drama and singing classes. We will build up to a performance of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ at the end of the course for family and friends to watch. The 3 day workshop is ideal for young people aged 4-16 years.

End of Year Show
Star Steppers will be performing their own showcase of work ‘Step to the Stars’ at the Secombe Theatre on July 31st 2010. A fantastic way to celebrate ‘5 years of Star Steppers’ and a truly fun experience for all the children.
Step Into Education
Star Steppers have launched an educational and arts programme called ‘Step Into Education’ delivering dance, drama and music workshops to schools and colleges to inspire and engage young people.
Workshops are designed and created alongside the National Curriculum framework and we have had an excellent response! In the first month alone we have worked at Cheam High, Meadow Primary School in Stonleigh, Bandon Hill School in Wallington and The Trinity School in Leatherhead!
Its Party Time!

Body Gossip!
Hot on the heels of the Edinburgh hit show Body Gossip, starring Big Brother’s Nicky Graham, Eastender’s Natalie Cassidy and Coronation Street’s Shobna Gulati, Star Steppers have been invited to get involved!
Body Gossip want your Star Stepper’s stories! We have the chance to turn your stories into professional shows, films and even be featured on the Body Gossip website!
As we at Star Steppers strive to promote a healthy, positive attitude to the way our young people feel about their bodies, we need your help. Write a story about why we should love our bodies, however you feel and whatever age you are, and you might just see your story transformed into a film!

Work Experience...
At Star Steppers, we have lots of opportunities for young people to benefit through work experience. All our instructors are professionally trained actors, dancers, singers and performers and we work on a wide range of exciting projects, from running theatre schools throughout Surrey, Kent and London, as well as drama, dance and music workshops in schools, theatres and leisure centres, holiday courses, professional theatre productions, and training for theatre artists.
We are currently recruiting apprentices who will gain valuable experience in all theatre forms and in working with children. We can arrange week-long work experience placements as well as one-off placements and ongoing opportunities.
